Evaluation 7: Looking back at your preliminary task (the continuity editing task), what do you feel you have learnt in the progression from it to full product?

At the start of the year we was asked to film a perlimary task, on a normal camrea using adobe premier to edit the clips we shot. We had to use simple skills such as 180 degree rule and a shot reverse shot, in our clip you can see we have used both of these. We only used basic editing skills on Adobe premier however things where diffrent when filming our final horror title sequence and opening. When filming this we was able to use A HD camrea and we was able to edit on a Mac book, this was very good and as you will be able to see from the images the final products was much better then the prelimery task we was set. We only new basic skills when we was editing at first however after working with the Macs and using a software called final cut, our skills increased and we was much more advanced which meant our film was much better. The macs gave us a lot more transistions and effects when editing compare to adobe photoshop which wasa very basic programme. The HD camreas gave us much better and clearer footage then the noraml camreas, and with the clear footage and better editing it made our film a lot better. At first it was hard to get used to the Macs but after a while it became easy.

These two pictures are frame shots of the editing and the footage on the mac and hd camreas.

These two shots are from my prelimary task of my editing and normal footage.

As you can see these images and the editing are not as effective as the images above that are taken from the Macs.
